Real estate, tourism and industrial investment take center stage as Egyptian and Omani business leaders explore new avenues for economic cooperation

Black Diamond for Public Relations and Conference Organization has strengthened its strategic partnership with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo through its participation in two investment forums focused on real estate, tourism and industry.
The company collaborated with the Omani Embassy on the Egyptian-Omani Investment Forum for Real Estate and Tourism Development and the Egyptian-Omani Industrial Investment Forum, both organized by the Embassy of Oman in Cairo in cooperation with Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones.
The events brought together senior Omani and Egyptian officials, investors, business leaders, real estate developers and industrialists to explore investment opportunities and avenues for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Omani side was represented by senior officials including Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Chairman of Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones; Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Ambassador of Oman to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League; Dr. Hilal Al Hinai, Chairman of the Board of the Oman Society of Contractors; Ibrahim bin Hamoud Al Wahibi, Director of the Commercial Fraud Department at Oman’s Consumer Protection Authority; and Dr. Saeed bin Khalifa Al Quraini, Director General of Investment Development and official spokesman for Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones.
The forums also drew senior Egyptian participation, including Khaled Siddiq, Chairman of the Urban Development Fund and Assistant Minister of Housing; Mostafa Abdel Wahab, Head of the Executive Authority of the General Authority for Tourism Development; Mohamed Zaki El-Sewedy, Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries; and Mohamed Mostafa El-Sallab, Chairman of Mostafa El-Sallab Group.

Real Estate and Tourism
The real estate forum brought together a group of prominent Egyptian developers, including Omar Sabbour, Ahmed Mansour, Ahmed El Attal, Ashraf Boulos, Mohamed El Hagg, Ahmed El-Sergany, Ahmed Abu Zeid, Omar El-Tayebi, Hussein Ahmed Sabbour and Hesham Magdy.
Their participation reflected growing interest in strengthening investment and business ties between Egyptian and Omani companies in real estate development, tourism and related sectors.

Industrial Investment
The industrial forum featured Nahed Youssef, Chairwoman of Egypt’s Industrial Development Authority, and Hazem Anan, Vice Chairman of the authority, alongside senior officials.
The Federation of Egyptian Industries was represented by Mohamed Zaki El-Sewedy, Chairman; Mahmoud Sarg, Vice Chairman; and Khaled Abu El-Makarem, a member of the federation’s board, while Mohamed Mostafa El-Sallab also participated.
The forum brought together manufacturers from a broad range of sectors.
Among the participants were Sherif Hamouda, master developer of Tarboul Industrial City; pharmaceutical industry representatives Sherine Helmy, Osama Henedy, Mohamed Ghoneim, Bashar Gamal and Hussein Mahmoud Awad; and aluminum industry representatives Hassan Akyouz, Sheikh Mohamed bin Nihad Al Khalidi, Mohamed Sherif Saleh and Mohamed El-Ayady.
The food industries sector was represented by Rabie El-Bardisi, Sherine Sabry, Amir Habib, Seif Thabet, Mohamed Allam and Ahmed Khamis Gaber, while representatives of the electrical, textile and diversified industries included Mostafa Mohamed, Rashad Ibrahim and Mohamed El-Badry.

Abu Ria: Trade Does Not Reflect the Potential of Bilateral Relations
Ahmed Abu Ria, Chairman of Black Diamond for Public Relations and Conference Organization, said the company’s participation alongside its strategic partner, the Embassy of Oman in Cairo, reflected its commitment to supporting economic and investment events that can benefit both countries.
He said the forums offered investors in Egypt and Oman an opportunity to explore the scale of available investment opportunities and identify areas for deeper cooperation.
Abu Ria noted that bilateral trade between Egypt and Oman stands at about $750 million, arguing that the figure highlights the need for further efforts to expand economic cooperation in line with the investment opportunities available in both markets.
He also praised Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Oman’s ambassador to Egypt, for his efforts to strengthen investment partnerships between the two countries, particularly in real estate, industry and tourism.
According to Abu Ria, around 700 Egyptian companies currently invest in Oman, including approximately 140 with substantial investments, while the Egyptian market hosts around 144 Omani-invested companies.
He described those figures as a foundation for further expansion in bilateral investment and business ties.
